Rice Lake Arts

Where Art and Nature Meet

Rice Lake Arts is a creative learning space where we offer visual art workshops and events, featuring local and regional artists and artisans.

For more than 20 years, our beautiful 5-acre property was home to ZimArt-Rice Lake Gallery, a beloved destination for art collectors and stone carvers.

Rice Lake Arts builds on that impressive history, inviting guests to draw inspiration from nature as they explore their creativity in wood, stone, textiles, and other media.

We look forward to hosting you, your family and friends this season!

Workshops 2024 – Where Art and Nature Meet

We offer workshops in a wide range of media and approaches. What they all have in common are accomplished instructors who love to teach, small class sizes to provide individual support and guidance, a relaxed, joyful approach to learning and a deep connection to the natural world.

Enrolling in an art workshop is a great way to reconnect with your creative, imaginative, playful self – a brief time away from the busy world we all inhabit.

June is “Bring a Friend” Month at Rice Lake Arts!

For the entire month of June we are offering a “bring a friend” special.
When you sign up for a workshop at full price, your second registration will receive a 25% discount off that workshop fee.

That’s a savings for $45 for a 1-day workshop and $80-90 for a 2-day workshop!

IMPORTANT: When signing up online, in the message section of your registration form, please let us know the name of your friend so we can apply the discount to their registration. You can also use the discount for a 2nd workshop for yourself.

Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Our Open House was a great success!

We had blue skies, lots of sun, a great turnout and many wonderful artists sharing their practice and their artwork. Our new barn space was enjoyed by all! We are very excited for what’s ahead and encourage you to check out our workshop offerings, as things are filling up. Thanks to all our supporters who came out to celebrate at our Open House. You helped to make our first event a truly special and memorable day for all of us at Rice Lake Arts!
